It was really different waking up this morning and seeing snow in Kaihin Makuhari. I live on the 6th floor of my apartment complex and it was a really beautiful site to see the snow covered buildings and trees. After having breakfast and checking e-mail it was time to plan the next few days. I decided to take a trip with Larry Rocca, better known as M-Crash, to Nagoya to see a DEEN concert. DEEN is a J-Pop group that I have liked since 1995. The concert was just great. It lasted 2.5 hours and all aspects of the show were fantastic; the sound, lighting, and sold-out crowd made for a wonderful time. Larry and I enjoyed really music, and the dinner after the concert was really cool. Why do you ask? Well, we met the entire group (Shu, Koji and Shinji) after the concert and had drinks and dinner with them. We had a sosaku dinner. Sitting on tatami mats and eating an 8-course meal made my 2nd day back in Japan complete. I found out that DEEN are now on tour and have a new hit album. And how about this for coincidences – for Marines’ fans you all know that we hadn't won a championship in 31 years but it also turns out that 31 is also an important number for DEEN – they just launched their 31st single.
Well, one thing is for sure, I like to hit the ground running. I’m back in Japan only two days and I have lots planned the next couple of days.

何はともあれ、常に目一杯行動するのが私の性分です。日本に戻ってまだ2日目ですが、この先2、3日の予定はびっしり詰まっています。
1日か2日後に、また更新を確認してみてください。

私は、DEENファン歴が今年から１２年目突入です。長年の、DEENファンです
実は私も名古屋のライブに行っていたんですよ！2F席の最前列にいて、バレンタイン監督が会場内に入っていらっしゃったのがすぐわかり、歓迎の大拍手！で開演前から盛り上がってとてもいい雰囲気で嬉しかったです。
私は池森さんが大好きです。優しさ溢れた、秘めた強さを持ってるヴォーカリスト。
歌詞も、とってもDEENならではの「心」「魂」「想い」溢れていて、姿勢くずさず、ペース保って歩いているメンバーは、みな暖かい。私たちDEENファンと一緒に。
バレンタイン監督も池森さん、山根さん、田川さんを支えてあげましょうね！

(Good evening Valentine-kantoku and nice to meet you! My name is Yasuko and I’m a DEEN fan. I found a link on the official DEEN site to your blog and that is how I got here. I’ve been a DEEN fan for 12 years now and I was also in Nagoya for the concert! I was sitting in the 2nd floor row and I knew right away when you entered the concert hall as the place erupted in clapping. From the moment the concert started it was a great feeling.
I love Ikemori-san. He brims with kindness and he has a deep yet strong sound as a vocalist.
And DEENS’s music has heart, soul, and feeling, and group members show great warmth as they walk about the stage keep the pace. DEEN’s fans are the same!
Let’s give Valentine-kantoku, Ikemori-san, Yamane-san, and Tagawa-san our support!
The final live concert in Tokyo the day before yesterday was a huge success. It was such a great time!

私のパソコンの都合でなかなか見れなかったのです。
私もDEENの大ファンで、９５年の「未来のために」も
プロ野球を見てて好きになりました。
今回の名古屋のライブでボビーが来てくれたと
DEENの秀ちゃんも言われてたので
私も遠いところから飛んで行きたかったです（笑）
私は中学生の時からロッテのファンで
なかなか生の試合は見れないので
TVで放送されてる時、どの番組よりも
優先します（笑）
私のブログでも大好きなロッテや、DEENのことを

今はキャンプの真っ最中ですね。
日本に帰ってこられたとき、まだとても寒いので

I was unable to see it but now I can.
I too am a HUGE DEEN fan. From about 1995, the time of the “For the Future” album, I have also been a baseball fan too.
At the recent Nagoya concert that you went to I was hoping to make it down there as well.
I have been a fan of the Lotte Marines since middle school but at the time I rarely had the chance to go out and see a game live. But I would make a point to watch any Marines’ games broadcast on TV.
On my blog I also write about my favorite things: Lotte Marines and DEEN!
You are in the midst of training camp right now but when you come back to Japan it will be cold so take care of yourself!
