追記： ゴールドマンサックス・アジア社のトム・モンタグ氏（写真左）と彼の友人がマリーンズスタジアムに遊びに来てくれた時の写真です。トムは千葉ロッテマリーンズのファンでもあり、今では僕の良き友人としてもお付き合いさせてもらっています。彼が最近手に入れたベースボール史において貴重なアルバムのお話を６月１日付のブログ“ベースボール史、思い出のアルバム”内でもご紹介していたので、よかったらそちらもチェックしてみてください。そのアルバムからの写真も見れますよ。
西町インターナショナルスクールの５年生の男の子達が、野球教室を受けに来てくれた時の写真です。Jeffrey君、Max 君、Andrew君、Fletcher君、Shreshta君、Stephen君、Trevor 君、Mikey君、Osuke君、Igor君、Liam君、Joseph君、Einar君、Ken君、Andres君、Miles君、Daichi君、Taro君、Sidney君が参加してくれました。
この教室はトム・モンタグ氏が企画してくれたものだったのですが、参加してくれた男の子達全員にマリーンズの帽子とT シャツをプレゼントしてくれました。そしてその夜の試合もトムの家族、３人の男の子のご家族と一緒に VIP スイートルームで観戦してくれたんですよ。Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and checking out the Marines games.

Separately, I want to tell you about the Bobby’s Way mail magazine. It took a little bit of time but we finally got the first issue of the free Bobby’s Way mail magazine out last week. To those of you that have subscribed to it, I hope you enjoy it and upcoming issues. For those of you that have not yet subscribed, you can do so on the right-hand side of this Web site under the “Get the Scoop” section.
I will be sharing some photos and other fun content with you that can only be seen in the mail magazine. Hopefully we’ll be getting this out every couple of weeks. Here is a copy of what the first mail magazine looked like:

P.S. Here are some photos from when Tom Montag from Goldman Sachs Asia and his friends visited Marines Stadium. Tom has become a good friend of mine and a good fan of the Chiba Lotte Marines baseball team. Tom is the guy I mentioned in my June 1st entry, “Baseball Memorabilia,” and see some great historical baseball pictures from photo albums he recently purchased.
Also, you can see some pics of the 5th grade boys from Nishimachi International School that came in for a clinic, including Jeffrey, Luton, Andrew, Fletcher, Shreshta, Stephen, Trevor, Mikey, Osuke, Igor, Liam, Joseph, Einar, Ken, Andres, Miles, Daichi, Taro and Sidney.
In addition to arranging the outing, Tom Montag bought each of the boys a Marines cap and T-shirt and then attended that night's game in the VIP suite with his family and 3 of the boys from the group, along with their families.

I’ve been following the team since I moved here and I’ve been perplexed on the decision to bring back Val Pascucci to the lineup. He is without a doubt a power hitter, but his ability to hit regularly and in key situations seems to lack. It also seems that he would be much better suited at first base than anywhere else. Can you help me out with any insights into this?
On another note, I love the website and I think it was really cool of you to take the time to say ‘congratulations’ to a couple who were recently married via a self-made DVD a few months back for a guy in the oendan. The bride was VERY shocked to see that!
